No, I don't mean I won the lottery. My clumsiness finally caught up with me and I fractured my arm. My right arm. I'm right-handed. I can't even type properly.
Dang it.

That sounds painful. I hope you get better soon. You'll have to take it easy at the computer if typing is a problem. That could be the hardest part!
Tell me about it! This thing is my life!
Now that I have my prescription filled I can type if I hold the keyboard up at an angle so I don't have to rotate my wrist too much.
Still hurts though.
Oh no! that must be extremely frustrating. How long, do the doctors say, before you're reasonably functional again?
Hey kiddo,
Mom mentioned this when we spoke on the phone tonight. Very sorry to hear this and hope you feel better soon. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about the incredible inconvenience. I once had to deal with a disable right thumb for a few weeks: no handwriting, no shoe-tieing, awkward typing, awkward eating, awkward everything. Major pain in the a**. Hope you're at least granted sick leave or light duty or some such.
Love,
Dad
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!
Gus
Sorry to hear about your arm. If it's any consolation, I just discovered your blog, and I like it! I look forward to reading more of your posts.
It doesn't hurt nearly as much today as it did yesterday, so barring any more incidents I think we'll be Back to Our Regularly Scheduled Programming.
